They call him Kipper

Weighing in at an impresive 825 grams at only 7 weeks, meet Kip, our new fur baby. 2 weeks later, he's now 1.2 kilos, 9 weeks old and an absolute maniac who can go from floor to ceiling via curtains in 7 seconds!! Pure love on four legs. And Muffin's new best friend.

Mandurah Island Challenge

7am start on a Sunday, ugh! But we had better get used to it because Stuart wants to be a marathon runner. (when say we had better get used to the early starts I really mean me as DH stayed at home, in bed, keeping it warm for me!)Competing in his first Fun Run, The Island Challenge, a 2km run, he's up the front raring to go.Not a medal winner this time, but our school won a $500 prize for having the most percentage of participants, plus each runner was given a hat, water bottle, free breckie and a helium balloon! Look at the speed!

Quilts for Vic Fire

Our school held a quilt day where mums and kids could come with the aim of sending 10 quilts to the Victoria Bush Fire Appeal. Unfortunately, only 2 other mums came (with 7 kids between us) but we had a great day.I whipped up this kids ragged edges eye spy floor quilt, said it before and I'll say it again, to to easy! (Terrible pics, I have a new computer and can't find my camera software cd to download.)I have cut out another one using the same fabrics and another one using up some of my treasured Micheal Miller Retro fabrics. Our next sewing day is Saturday 28 March so with 3 quilts pledged from me, we should meet our target of 10!

Crab Fest 2009

They have grown a bit from last year! Cate's taller and thinner, wearing the same top, Olivers way taller and Stu's hair seems redder. But all in all there the same monkeys!
